Lanikai is a beautiful residential area that was developed in the mid 1920s as a vacation spot for Honolulu residents. The neighborhood grew over time and many of the homes built in the 1920s. Charles Frazier played a significant role in the development of Lanikai by buying around 300 acres of beachfront and subdividing it into 32 lots in 1924.
